A friend brought her son to me with his stack of comics, mostly x- men comics, from the 80's. Two are signed and have certificates. I have no idea how to even figure out what year, issue, volume # etc. How do I do this?

He wanted to sell them on eBay, but I wanted to estalish values on them because he thinks some of them are worth tons of money. I don't want him to be dissappointed if they don't sell for what he thinks they should, nor give anything away of his for far less than it's worth.

Would somebody direct me to a place I can go to learn about the values of these x- men (mostly, some spiderman) comics? I took lots of photos, some didn't come out that well because I didn;t use the flash, but the two signed ones I have good pictures of.

He also has about 300 x-men cards, one superman comic never opened- still in the white covering- with the"S" logo on it. I can;t even read the key number on it. And three action figures, one freddy krueger, and two others I have photos of but cannot remember who they are at the moment.

Unfortunately, comics and comic cards from the 80's-90's aren't worth ...

I agree with the points made so far on the value of 80s comics.
