Hello there,
Please try and help!

I am creating an auction website and we have one problem on bank, payment issues.

We have already thought that if a bidder wins an item but does not pay then we need to suspend him. We thought the only crediable way of doing this is to ask him or her to enter his or her credit card details and address before being able to bid. Then in the future we could ban such deails being used again.

However, does anyone know a way in which we can validate such details given? If possible automatically when they sign up. The problem is merchnat accounts I have talked to say that they only verify a person when a payment is made. Its important as otherwise the member could just enter any old information and keep committing happy bidding and annoy people.
