So, for those who've been sitting around wondering when Google was going to launch their 'killer' auction apps and start to compete directly with eBay ....... today's little 'partnership' agreement between the two cannon-totin' mega sites should put any of those notions to bed.

I was not shocked when I heard the announcement on the nightly news, but will admit I was a little dismayed. With Google 'partnering up' with the likes of eBay, I doubt there will be anyone in this decade who will ever have a chance at offering any substantial competition to eBay.

What's next? Googlebay or eGoogle?
