Posted at December 31, 1969, 6:00 pm: This just occurred to me.. When you list a item, you pay ebays listing fees based on the items price. (i,.e, if you post an auction item with opening bid of $50, the insertion fee is $2.40) If someone then makes you a best offer of $35 and you accept it, then you just paid an insertion fee of $2.40 whch ebays gets but you are accepting less which is wasting the $ you soent to list it. .. .. I havent had my coffee yet but I'm sure someone can figure this out and put it in succinct terms? I guess it would depend on your markup ..
