Posted at December 31, 1969, 6:00 pm: hello out there ... I tried the best offer thing on eBay. I like the idea, I'm used to working that way on iOffer. eBay has some "tweaking" to do, in my opinion. I would love to see a counter offer option. As it stands, once the potential buyer makes an offer - that's it one chance only. They can not make a second offer on an item. Not a bad thing if the buyer knows this and/or is firm in their offer. I had an offer on an item that was just a few bucks shy on what I would need to get. there was no way to counter offer, or inform the buyer on my listing page. My only options were to accept, or decline. I did contact the buyer and let her know my true "bottom line" price. I told her I would change the listing to buy now for her, if she agreed on price. She thanked me but did not want to purchase at my price. I like the idea, but won't use it again until I (and the buyer) have a little more flexibility.visit festoonery at iOffer: http://www.ioffer.com/shops/festoonery Original of the message was taken from http://www.auctionbytes.com/forum/phpBB/ Previous Post: I don't have thousands, but I have had hundreds with no problems.
