Posted at December 31, 1969, 6:00 pm: I just started using the Best Offer on my listings. I've only received one bite. The offer was several dollars away from how low I would go... Right now I'm going to experiment with this new feature and see what happens. My beef with the Best Offer feature, is that it doesn't show up in the listings. The customer won't know it's even offered, until they click on my listing and view my auction page. I really think Ebay should put something by the listing so potential customers will know they can make an offer. Maybe eventually they will do this, and when they do they'll probably charge extra for it... Anyway, what I did was place this in the sub-title section (50 cents to do this) "Buy Now or Make Best offer!" I just put that in yesterday, and I'll find out if it works or not. I think that 50 cents is a bit much to pay to show that I will accept offers. But maybe that's what Ebay was betting on??
