Posted at December 31, 1969, 6:00 pm: What it means is that you have set your listing to accept offers from people. If they make an offer and you accept it the listing is automatically turned into a BUY IT NOW at the new lower price and you will sell it to the customer. It is a new thing. I will not be using it though as I expect ebay to start charging for it in the next two years and I don't feel like having to modify thousands of items to accept customers offers only to have to again modify thousands of listings a couple years from now to avoid paying more fees to ebay. I have found that if someone wants something bad enough they will email you and you can negotiate the price and then modify the listing. I don't need ebay to do that for me. Will I lose some sales because I do not use this new thing? I am guessing the answer is yes.
