Online buyers, especially those cultivated by eBay, are very price conscious. In the end, buyers pay the fees incurred by sellers in the order total. I think eBay has priced itself out of the online marketplace for commodity goods. It s still a good place to sell unique, hard-to-find, or high demand products. As a company, what they are doing is smart by expanding their brand to other online marketplaces such as classifieds, web stores, and shopping comparison engines. Its a good move IMO.
