Posted at December 31, 1969, 6:00 pm: I do want to add here that I personally know how much $, time and effort Sandy and her husband have put into trying to get her dot com to be a viable stand alone! So she hasnt just opted for the malls. Given the options that are available now as opposed to when I launched my own website, I think I would go with Instantestore and am strongly thinking of doing so after the holidays. I like what we have built on our dot com, and it only costs $3.95 per month in hosting at GoDaddy, but the Dreamweaver program that my husband used to build it is just not easily manageable for me, and also not shopping cart friendly without mucho reprogramming, and so I have kinda let that venture stagnate. Still comes as a really pleasant surprise when I get the phonecalls and emails from customers to buy stuff from it tho and so I will keep it open till I have the time to rebuild it on Instantestore or whetever is best then. As far as malls go, I think I am going to keep my eggs in the baskets that they seem to be hatching well in for now, and focus my efforts and energy and $ on those.
